WW2 German Kar 98 with Sniper Scope
Every 1/6th collector I know loves a sniper gun, I am no exception :) . With all the excitement from DML’s release of a sniper figure recently boosted my spirit to custom and improve this rifle.
This rifle is a DML older version of a KAR 98 with a sniper scope. Improvements were made as below :-
1) Removal of mold marks
2) creating wood grain finish
3) straightening of the rifle (the original was a bit bent to the left L)
4) repainting
5) replacing the sling with a leather like sling
6) adding a scratchbuilt leather like lens protector (the caps works!)
I made quite a bit of research on the scope and I identified the scope type is an Ajack 4 x 90 Sniper Scope. More research was done on the leather lens protector.
