This is my second attempts in improving a 1/6th modern rifle, a very basic project. I cleaned up the molded lines and remove the original "rubber band" sling. Airbrushed the whole piece with matt black and applied graphite powder to recreate the gun metal shines, follow by some light weathering. Final step will be adding a simple scratch built sling, just a canvas strap tied with duct tapes at both ends.
This original piece is from DML, I still prefer DML's quality in terms of scale and casting accuracy as compared to other manufacturers. Enjoy the photos and thanks for viewing : )
