Lots of work went into improving this DML MG42 (early version). I stripped the gun apart and cleaned the plastic from the original glue and piece togather again to get a precise fit (its like building a model kit!). Next i added wood grain texture on the gun butt and repainted the entire gun. I polished the metal portion with graphite powder and then wash the gun with oil paint. I added the gun strap as well.
